Love that title! i maybe need to make myself a T-shirt or something. Spinnin' and Screwin'..... no? There's nothin like a power drill to make you feel .....i don't know... capable. and powerful! unless of course you screw threw the flyer and into your dads' and his cronies' workbench. not that i did that! but i have maybe...done something like that. and maybe wasn't allowed to visit the shop for the entire period of the late 90's. who knew you couldn't use a circular grinder on a painting? whatever. shop guys have a serious lack of vision. unless it's has to do with wheels....they did make an interesting two-assed jeep one year.....could only drive in reverse. ... but i digress.
Back to spinning! I am getting worried about NY. i am feeling very sad about leaving my babies (2 and 4). :((((((( and for some reason everytime i tell someone i'm going to NY they ask me if i'm going shopping. first off- i don't shop unless it's on the internet. and second...who are they talking to? i'm always borrowing money for taco's and they think i'm taking a weekend shopping trip across the country! no no....it's a jet setting trip for spinning- of course. they just blink at me. whatever! what do people know. spinning is way more fun than shopping. but now i'm a little self conscious.....like, should i be shopping? do i maybe need a really nice pair of $200 jeans? i have one pair of jeans. they are from the dot-com era when i making big bucks as an internet commuter scumball in Silicone Valley. They were sweet jeans for the 90's: tight, slightly stretchy, good flair. Now they are totally faded, have lost their stretch and are only tight because i have since had two kids. and the hems are worn away from walking on them and there are holes forming everywhere. is this not acceptable?
wait...i am pageing through my favorite FreePeople catalog as we speak. here...look here: "Johnny Strait Leg Jean...$228". Faded, no stretch...full of holes. whew! i'm fine.

Tried to re-do the ladybug with pre-felted yarn and it was another failure. i'll not distress you with the pictures. instead i just made some cute little sparkly fruity pebbles.
