finally sat down to spin the yarn for challenge #5. i shredded the entire coverlet and all the little crocheted lace. i'm spinning this as a self-stripeing yarn. so when knit it will have a stripe or block  in fabric alternating with a stripe in hemp. the whole yarn is candy striped with a nice old silk thread.

I strung the beads onto appx. 10" sections of string and am spinning them in through out.



adding a strip of embroidered fabric to the tail end of the crocheted lace:


look how cool the yellow stitches are! they made a little loopy tunnel thing...


adding some crocheted lace. this was a doily...i cut around the center and spiraled out, saving this little cute circle.




shaggy! this was a crocheted piece that was done in little consecutive chains....so they just unraveled like this.
