Sorry for the VOTE delay!! So many entries! am posting now. stay tuned.....
wow...sorry for the super slow blogging here. sat down two days ago and had...like 100 emails in my inbox. not junk! i guess it's because of the book or something. so anyhow: if your waiting for blog- sorry! if you emailed me: i'm getting to it! if you ordered something: shipping today!! so what am i going to do now? i think i really need an assistant. but i don't have any more income coming in. so i can't hire an assistant. i need someone who will work for yarn or soup. who would work for yarn or soup?
KNOMES! i need email checking paypal invoicing knomes! knomes don't need money....they live in the land o' plenty. but they like handspun yarn i think. and i'm sure they would eat soup. how do i find a knome? i live in the mountains. knomes live in the mountains? do knomes know how to use photoshop? maybe i need a San Jose knome....certainly they would know how to use photoshop. but they would hate the commute....3 hours in a car....god knows how long it would take in a mouse drawn cart. or even if they flew...how fast does a blue jay fly? no- i don't think i could get a San Jose knome for my assistant. so i'll have to find a woods knome from around here. how do i do that? i'm sure they would be attracted to the whole yarn thing. maybe i should knit a tiny little sweater and put it out in the woods behind my house and then hide behind the rock and see if a knome comes out to get the sweater. then....when he/she gets the sweater...i could jump out and say "hey! you little....knome! do you like that sweater? are you hungry for soup? if you are i have more! all you need to do is answer my email for a few hours each morning. wait! wait little knome! give me that sweater back then!" . so...no maybe knomes won't help either. where does one get good free labor? interns!! is there such a thing as a spinning intern? a SPINTERN? i'll check craigslist...
sigh....what am i doing?? where is that spintern!! oh yes- Circle The Wagons! the yarn is DONE. but there was no spintern nor knome to take the picture of me spinning in the wagon train dress. i tried to take of myself...but just got weird angled boob shots and those horrible camera-staring eyes. i just can't keep putting you guys through that. maybe my husband will help later. i'll be like...."hey baby....wanna take some pictures of me, wink wink.....let me slip into my mid-calf length prairie dress" . yeah...so...maybe don't hold your breaths on the dress pics.
on to the yarn. Here 'tis. don't forget to enter the challenge y'all!
