ANNOUNCEMENTS!!
Yarn for Debbie Stoller Knitting Cruise!
Debbie Stoller (Stitch 'n Bitch) is teaching on a knitting cruise that leaves NY in a couple of weeks and they are looking for contributions for the "swag bags" that all of the cruisers will be receiving. There are 60 people signed up, but you don't need to provide full skeins for all 60. You can do small yardages, like samples or enough for trims/accents. They don't all need to be identical either, just whatever you can manage. full skeins are fine too, even if it's just one or two. anything else you may have to offer is fine too....stickers, buttons, postcards, etc.
The only requirement is that you need to actually be a yarn seller, not just a hobby spinner. (so the cruisers can contact you to buy more of what they get in their bags). you don't need to be big by any means, but at least have an etsy shop, ebay shop or website that people can purchase from. make sure all your stuff has your business name and contact info on it.
This might be a good opportunity for anyone trying to get started selling their yarn. this is your market people! cutting edge knitters willing to take a cruise just to knit.....
