The Sweet Smell of Sardines in the Morning
well...this was the closest vote yet, but Joyce Abbott of Banadura won by one vote. Yay joyce! I LOVED this yarn...amazing choice of material and the colors were great. So, lucky joyce, you win my edible undies yarn IF you want it. if you don't (which i would fully understand) i'm tossing it as it gives me bad memories and indigestion. email me either way!

In other news...just finished my new favorite yarn ever! well...at least for this week. it's called BUSYBODY and has everything going on in it. i will try and get good pics up today and post for sale soon. it is a HUGE skein and has wool, reeled silk loops, copper wool, silk hankie bows, fabric with embroidery, sparkle, vintage paper flowers and who-all knows what else....i forget!

Wow! I can't wait to see the finished pictures of that yarn!

Do you know where to find some of that salvage silk? I'd love to try some out myself. :)

reeled silk
i have been trying to find more but i'm not having any luck. this was given to me by some members of the sacramento guild...they got it from a friend who got it from an old museum fiber exhibit.

does anyone out there know how to get reeled waste silk????
