i didn't buy it. i just went and took a picture. and i guess he does have a face...i just must have blocked it out in my memory because the closed-eye look of ecstasy just really disturbs me. the dog looks pretty happy too.

I feel like I have to come back in and say that I was feigning horror here, I do think this very funny. I think you all know I wasn't suggesting anything bad about this. I don't think it in anyway suggests abuse, as ANON posted. I am super sick with the flu and couldn't type last night but here I am today.

Its obvious the person was trying to paint an affectionate piece but lacked technique skill. If you could see some of MY drawings before I learned how to draw, you'd all have the same reactions.

hopefully the painter progressed to a state of skill wwhere they can be proud of their work, and enjoy a chuckle at this crude piece they did long ago..

Thanks for posting it Lexi, I did LMAO while hacking up a lung at the same time!

Maybe if you look around on the internet you can find some more disturbing pictures and paintings of people with animals to post. I find no humour at all in this. I will not be back on your site and I am cancelling my order for your book.

hey ms.mrs.mr. anon, are you being serious? no one here thinks that molesting animals is cool, and clearly, all think that doing a bad painting of it is even stranger. if you think that is a reason to cancel your book order, i reckon you aren't cool enough to hang with the artyarn crowd. sniff!

what if you applied for the museum of bad art and didn't get in! that would sting! i always see the most terrifying bad art at the antique store near me. i see LOTS of dog portraits. some are really cute. some are really freaky.
